Hello! I’m John, a second-year student at Queen’s University studying Health Sciences. As the first university branch of Hope for Hearing, we aim to extend Hope for Hearing's mission statement into the university environment. Our goal is to further raise funds and awareness across our campus, providing students with information and resources in order to address and raise awareness of the hard-of-hearing population. Through our fundraiser events, community awareness nights, guest speaker workshops and research information posts, we hope that the 2024-2025 school year can kickstart our mission, bringing together a community dedicated to raising funds and awareness for hearing loss across Canada. In my free time, you can find me at the gym (I'm recently re-picking up badminton!), playing piano, and learning about new tech products!
